When I saw this dance video I felt it was the perfect expression of Virgo. The crisp, white costumes, the fierce technicality of the movement, and of course, the song’s lyric’s just about says it all. Virgo is known for its perfectionism and loves to feel helpful. Anyone who has had a close relationship with a Virgo knows what it feels like to be dotted over, and at times ‘fixed’. Virgo’s can’t help but notice when something could be better, whether it’s your fashion sense, your work ethic, or how you choose to brush your teeth. Yes, the constant attention to detail and need to have things ‘just right’, can get tiring after a while. But realize of all the signs of the zodiac, Virgo is the most pure and well intentioned.

Taking a deeper look into his chart, it’s clearly revealed dance was indeed the ticket to Fosse’s legacy. With the Sun in perfect sextile to Terpsichore (asteroid # 81) both in quincunx to Saturn-the infamous magical atrological pattern is revealed- ‘the Yod’, better known as the ‘Finger of God’. In Fosse’s Case, God’s finger points directly to hard work, professionalsim, achievement, and legacy- all infamous virtues of Saturn.
Saturn’s placement in Sagitarius in the ninth house (the Archer’s natural arena) emphasizes faith and spirituality – and is not easily expressed through the confines of Saturn’s critical gaze and high expectations. It’s likely that although Fosse was adulated by his colleagues and fans, he was never fully satisfied or deeply believed in himself-but he didn’t have to- thanks to the perfect sextile between the Sun and Terpsichore.
Known as the “opportunity aspect”, the sextile (60 degree angle) is akin to two planets shaking hands in strong agreement. In Fossey’s case, his Cancer Sun and Taurus Terpsichore signifies a beautiful parternship of soul with sensuality, topped off with a refined aesthetic- (due to Venus’s rulership of Taurus). Fosse intuitively knew how to make a dancer look great while also emitting irresistible visceral energy. Undoubetdly this was the gift of his Sun Terpsichore sextile- a planteary agreement that set off a divine spark and unleashed unstoppable positive momentum.
Some people are just born to be dancers; Bob Fosse was definately one of them.

The Sun, the galaxy’s brightest star, is exalted in the sign of Aries. This amplify’s everything the Sun is well known for: warmth, brightness, strength, optimism, hope, and spirit. All this ushers in the freshness that’s associated with Spring.
It is time to begin anew. Of all the zodiac signs, Aries has the most vitality. Take any Aries you know, and he or she will likely possess an inner confidence that always shines, like an eternal flame hidden in the depths of the heart. Funny enough the root of the word courage is cor- the Latin word for heart. In it’s most basic form, the word courage means “To speak one’s mind by telling all one’s heart.”
Ironically this makes of one of the zodiac’s most vulnerable and sensitive signs- they just don’t let disappointment get them down for very long. Still, Aries can be sensitive to criticism, and easily feel slighted if not given the respect he or she rightly deserves. This is because Aries is all about “I”, not necessarily in the negative ego driven sense (that’s the dark side of Aries) but rather the healthy “I” that celebrates a strong sense of personal identity and self actualization.
In times of crisis, we all need support, but I think it’s also important to realize we as individuals are more powerful than we may think. During this time when the Sun’s power is exalted, the following may be quite helpful:
How can you take positive action toward what matters most to you? This is not so much about resources, or intelligence, or even confidence, but rather courage- the courage to go forward even though you may fall- hard. Welcome the opportunity to take a very high step and you will find success, whether you ‘make it’ or not. As the zodiac’s youngest sign, Aries is the most resilient.
