Mastering the Art of Turning in Dance & Life

Yes. I am obsessed with turns. Mainly because I love the feeling. There is nothing else like it! Perhaps that’s why at times turning seems so nebulous. There are good days, not so good days, completely off days, and brilliant days, (not necessarily in that order)! I thought it would be fun to keep track of my pirouette discoveries and share them. Turning is a lot like life.  You have to be strong, focused, and you just have to go for it. Trust. And let it go…that’s they only way you’ll improve. Don’t use too much momentum. It’s not about force. It’s about grace. The magical coming together of so many different things is one moment. Don’t hesitate, and be open to receive…gee I could go on and on!
