As Venus retrogrades in Gemini, your heart may feel split in two. An emotional pull that lures you toward indecisiveness will challenge your sense of logic, but if you take a light approach, you’ll prevail. Indeed, Venus in Gemini is  like the social butterfly- fun, curious and alluring, but ultimately non committal.  Venus is the planet of indulgence after all,  and Gemini is the zodiac’s most dualistc sign. 

If you’re involved with anyone who has a Venus in Gemini natal placement,  it’s likely he or she is highly flirtatious and has a special way with words. The Sun, the galaxy’s brightest star, is exalted in the sign of Aries. This amplify’s everything the Sun is well known for:  warmth, brightness, strength, optimism, hope, and spirit. All this ushers in the freshness that’s associated with Spring.

It is time to begin anew. Of all the zodiac signs, Aries has the most vitality. Take any Aries you know, and he or she will likely possess an inner confidence that always shines, like an eternal flame hidden in the depths of the heart.  Funny enough the root of the word courage is cor- the Latin word for heart. In it’s most basic form, the word courage means  “To speak one’s mind by telling all one’s heart.”

Ironically this makes of one of the zodiac’s most vulnerable and sensitive signs- they just don’t let disappointment get them down for very long.  Still, Aries can be sensitive to criticism, and easily feel slighted if not given the respect he or she rightly deserves. This is because Aries is all about “I”, not necessarily in the negative ego driven sense (that’s the dark side of Aries) but rather the healthy “I” that celebrates  a strong sense of personal identity and self actualization.

The world is not the most pleasant place. Eventually your parents leave you and nobody is going to go out of their way to protect you unconditionally. You need to learn to stand up for yourself and what you believe and sometimes pardon my language, kick some ass.

Funny enough I recall my most recent conversation with my Father ” Did you hear the news?” “What news?”  “Harry wants to leave the Royal Family and the Queen’s feelings are hurt!”

This pretty much sums up the Cancer Lunar Eclipse, which peaked on Friday, 2:21 p.m. EST.

I asked him what his source was and he said he read the message through his I Phone (which sounded a bit strange as he is 77 years old)!  Then about five minutes later I heard a little ring on my phone…and sure enough the news popped up via an Apple New Link.  

How perfectly does this sum up this eclipse! Cancer is the sign of the Royal Family after all, AND is also associated with Apple.  Cancer is the sign of the motherhood, nurturing, a sense of family, and last not but least, emotional sensitivity. Cancer is also ruled by the moon,  which makes this full moon Lunar eclipse doubly Cancerian.  

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, has a Cancer Ascendant at 24 degrees of Cancer, just a few degrees away from the Lunar Eclipse at 20 degrees of Cancer

Lunar eclipses signal endings, and since the moon is Cancer’s ruling planet, this particular eclipse will usher an extra powerful culmination. How this manifests will depend on how it hits your chart. I you are a Cancer or Capricorn, or have have a lot of Cancer or Capricorn in your chart, your inner strength will certainly be tested. 

Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, has a Cancer Ascendant at 24 degrees of Cancer, just a few degrees away from the Lunar Eclipse at 20 degrees of Cancer.  Now is her time to shine and show what’s she’s made of, or as the Queen may more appropriate say:

Saturn Meets Pluto in Capricorn

2020 begins with a powerful and rare meeting between Saturn and Pluto, both now in Capricorn, the zodiac’s most conservative sign. Think of this cosmic occurrence as  a high profile meeting in which both parties will need to come to a final agreement about a momentous executive decision. This decision will create a foundation for the next decade (and maybe even longer). As a result, there is a feeling of heaviness that can not be ignored, only embraced. 

So, if the New Year feels unusually somber, serious, or even dire, you’re likely receiving a crystal clear connection from the planets! It’s likely a situation has been gradually building up for the past several months, directly  heading toward an inevitable climax that will leave a lasting mark on not only on this year but your next life chapter. This is most transparent in the current political landscape in the U.S. and many other places world wide, but what’s important for you to realize is that you too, as an individual are indeed part of the big world scheme currently at play.

You have a specific role to play, and it’s crucial that you abide to this in a way that will empower you. Pluto will pull at your inner critic, your ‘lesser self’, and the shards of your ego that lead you in circles without understanding why, particularly with power plays that involve sex, money, and control. 

Once the cosmos brings Saturn and Pluto together, the air can weigh so heavy that you may find it hard to breathe. But breathe you must, as you are human, and however fragile you may feel, these planets will bring you face to face with  strength you didn’t know you had.
