When I saw this dance video I felt it was the perfect expression of Virgo. The crisp, white costumes, the fierce technicality of the movement, and of course, the song’s lyric’s just about says it all. Virgo is known for its perfectionism and loves to feel helpful. Anyone who has had a close relationship with a Virgo knows what it feels like to be dotted over, and at times ‘fixed’. Virgo’s can’t help but notice when something could be better, whether it’s your fashion sense, your work ethic, or how you choose to brush your teeth. Yes, the constant attention to detail and need to have things ‘just right’, can get tiring after a while. But realize of all the signs of the zodiac, Virgo is the most pure and well intentioned.

2019 will begin with a Solar Eclipse in Capricorn (the sign of structure and responsibility) on Saturday January 5, 8:28 p.m. EST. Saturn (Capricorn’s ruler) will merge with this eclipse, which will add weight to whatever you begin in the New Year. The mood in January will be serious, and with Saturn (the planet of authority) in the mix, you’ll want to think long term so you’ll be ready to face the consequences of your actions. Thanks to the eclipse, it’s likely what you embark on in the beginning of 2019 will make you stronger and wiser. Themes of positive self-expression and collaborative thinking will make 2018 a year to reap the rewards of being proactive and stepping out as your true self. This year will also challenge you to broaden your perspective about your role in your community, social circle, a political cause, or other collective vision that’s much bigger than you (the ‘me too’ movement is a good example). You will likely have to loosen the reigns in an area of your life that makes you feel confident; whether its work, parenthood, sexuality, or creativity, you’ll do best if you take courage to take a different route and go outside your comfort zone. If you’re a natural team player, you’ll feel stimulated. If you’re more of a one on one person however, you’ll need an extra push to get you in the mix, where others will notice you and help you make a lasting impact.
Material stability will give you food for thought as your personality completes a unique makeover that has brought you much wisdom. Think about the part of your life that seemingly has caused you the most havoc in the past several years. Your love life, finances, career, or family- for example…that presented you with so many opportunities to make a fresh start, but no matter how hard you may have tried, you just couldn’t seem to get it right. Well- this year will offer you that one last chance to finally ‘get’ it. As a result, you’ll make a great achievement, as you’ll experience a new level of mastery that will highlight your unique brilliance in a particular area of your life.
As you reach the end of this process, you’ll notice circumstances will start changing, and the pattern you once thought was inescapable will open up. Be mindful and carefully watch what happens. Whether this involves a psychological or emotional experience or you see events clearly played out, you will come to a certain “knowing”, and it will feel so refreshing! When this happens, you’ll have an opportunity to get connected with a new kind of reality, which will encourage you to make an important life change. A value you once had will likely fade away as you become a new (and better) person. Your security, self- esteem, possessions, and overall comfort level will come to the forefront of your life experience, and no matter what your financial status- you’ll likely want to have an impressive net worth.

Whether its power, freedom, luxury, comfort, a mix of all, or something else that has great meaning for you, pay attention to what you value this year…what makes you feel like a million dollars, and you’ll be on your way to making 2018 a year where you come out as winner.
Major Planetary Events
There are four eclipses in 2018. Three will ignite the Leo Aquarius axis (the last will arrive in Cancer). If you are a Leo or Aquarius, get ready for lots of changes! If you are a Cancer, a new frontier is waiting for you, so have your sights set on a new future. Uranus, the planet of freedom, innovation, fame, and unexpected change will leave Aries and will make its grand entrance in Taurus on Tuesday, May 15. This will mark a new chapter that will last until July 8, 2025.
Life changing events for the next 7 years will involve Taurus themes: material stability, physical comfort and pleasure, personal values, and ownership. If you are a Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, or Aquarius (which comprise all the zodiac’s fixed energy signs) this new chapter will greatly impact your life’s direction. All signs, however, will definitely feel a part of their life changing in ways that will eventually create a solid foundation for long term stability.
ARIES (March 21- April 19)
It’s time to wrap your personal reinvention and start collecting. New ways of making money will take you in the stratosphere of your industry. You’ll have the ability to get the resources you need to expand. A business loan, mortgage, venture capital, merge, or other financial partnership will expand your options and empower you. TAURUS (April 20 -May 20)

If you have stage fright, you’ll likely resist and want to run behind the curtains to take a nice deep breath. GEMINI (May 21-June 21)
You’ll feel bounced around like a tennis ball as you juggle your life’s daily demands. Communication, organization, and time management will become the key to your sanity throughout 2018. Try not get too wrapped up in logistics- as this will only slow you down. Think of the big picture first, and then you’ll know where to zoom in. If you have a psychological or emotional pattern that’s preventing you from being your best self, circumstances will likely usher you to stop, look, and listen. Make that change Gemini, only you’ll know what it is, and in that knowing you’ll have incredible power to make a personal breakthrough.
CANCER (June 22-July 22)
Know what your worth is, Cancer, as 2018 will give you a chance to become a higher earner. Whether you work for an organization or for yourself, you’ll break new ground by having clarity about what’s most important to you, and knowing what’s required to get there. It’s likely you already have the skills and talent to reach an ambitious goal. The real question is, do you have the resources? Focus on developing relationships with key people who have an in to the place where you seek entrance, and you’ll make an impressive debut. LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Search from within the recesses of your mind and soul, and every day you’ll experience a miracle. Most will likely be small, but miracles all the same. The more you notice the magic, the bigger the miracles will become, and by the end of 2018, you’ll feel pure and revitalized, yet strong as steel. This year you’ll likely have to confront what you would rather not see, but as soon as you decide to shine the light on the darkness, you’ll experience the power of spiritual resilience. The total solar eclipse in 28 degrees of Leo will be exact on Monday, August 21, at 2: 30 p.m. EST. Positive new beginnings can be expected no matter what sign you are, but fire signs will benefit most, due the grand fire trine (a most auspicious alignment of 120 degrees) between the new moon in Leo (i.e. the eclipse), Saturn at 21 degrees Sagittarius, and Uranus at 28 degrees Aries (retrograde until January 3, 2018).
What makes this eclipse even more special is its tight proximity to Regulus, a spectacularly bright star in the heart of the Lion, for the constellation of Leo, at 29 degrees. This star is known to bring good fortune, and is prominent in the charts of many celebrated actors, politicians, as well as royalty, and well known historical figures.
One thing for sure is change is on its way! Ready or not! Saturn’s influence will likely add a sobering effect, as Saturn in the planet of stability and longevity. Sagittarian’s will likely feel this influence the most, since Saturn is now in their sign. But that won’t be the whole picture- as Uranus known for bringing the unexpected and shaking things up. Get ready to venture in new territory that feels a little rocky- after a month or so, you’ll likely gain foresight and balance to help you ground yourself as you master your footing.
