The Adventurous Saturnian’s Lessons in Love

If someone has a lot of Capricorn and/or Aquarius in their chart, they are essentially “Saturnian”. This is because, in astrology, Saturn has rulership over these signs.  There are 5 planets in Capricorn and 2 planets in Aquarius in your chart Dark Knight, so you have passed the Saturnian test with flying colors.

Anything that is a long, grueling process which promises prestigious long-lasting rewards is Saturnian, like getting a PHD., for example. The process will be painstaking because so much preserverance is required, to TEST you to see if you’re really serious.  If you don’t give up and find a way to make it to the end of the road, you’ve really made it.

So, this is what your life is like…one long, arduous journey to mastery…particularly in romance and love. That’s because you have Saturn VERY close to Venus, the planet of love romance, and relationships.  In astrology, when two planets are right next to one abother we call call it a ‘conjunction’. It’s like 2 people making love, so it’s a very powerful connection.

You are destined to experience hard lessons in love, but in the end you will master them and enjoy  a long-lasting relationship that could withstand anything. Saturn is as hard as a rock, especially in the sign of Capricorn, where Saturn is in DIGNITY.

A planet in Dignity is a perfect fit. The energy of the sign is super powerful because the Planet’s natural impulse goes perfectly with sign’s expression, like Sun in Leo for example, or Johnny Walker, Blue Label…if that helps:)

So, you have a Royal Saturn…he’s going to make damn sure you get your love life straight…no matter how much it hurts…it’s your destiny.

What I’d be concerned about if I were you is your Mars, the planet of sex, masculinity, aggression,  confidence, and anger…Mars is the only planet you have in Fire…it’s in the ‘all over the place’ Sagittarius… and is having a sword fight with Jupiter, the planet of excess, in Cancer. Jupiter LOVES the sign of Cancer, and is, in astrology what we would call ‘exaltation’ , meaning deliciously orgasmic.

Be careful of impulsive overindulgence. Many times you can’t help yourself and need to lock down your sex drive. Find a girl to keep you interested and distracted from going over the deep end when it comes to overindulging in pleasure and fun. You need to find positive outlets for that Sagittarius Mars…sports, adventurous traveling…something constructive…otherwise it could leave you broke and 300 pounds overweight, (that’s on the extreme end…but definately possible…)

Also, make sure your woman REALLY turns you on. This is because Eros, the passion asteroid, is very close to your Sun/New Moon combo in the experimental sign of Aquarius.  There’s a freak in you! But it’s pretty harmless. It just means that sexual fanasty, adventure, eroticism, etc. run deep in your blood and you need someone who respects that and is willing to take that journey with you.

As long as you ‘keep it real’, it’ll all work out.  If you start going in the wrong direction you’re bound to know it because Saturn will kick you in the butt and get you back on track, and THAT is a true blessing. Be Grateful. You may have a lot to learn, especially when it comes to love, but you’ll definately pass the test!

The Plutonian Prince And King Henry the 8th

Sex and Power

The Thrill of Existence

This is the Plutonian way.  Your Cancerian gentleman’s chart is similar to King Henry the 8th’s…They are both Cancer Suns, were born when Pluto, the planet of sex, power, and wealth, was in the relationship sign of Libra, at the ‘critical’ 29th degree…the last degree of Libra, before entering into Pluto’s natural sign of Scorpio.

To top it off, Pluto was also stationary direct when they were both born. I think this is a pretty interesting coincidence when you take into account Pluto was also at the apex of a T-square, in both their charts!

This essentially means that for both these men, Sex, Relationships, Power, Greed, etc. play out in their lives in very similar ways. Their patterns of destiny are quite similar and lead them down the  same road of struggling with their own need for power and intensity.

The King had an exact opposition between Mercury, the planet of negotiation, and Saturn, the planet of legislation and the law…this opposition squares his Pluto in Libra. He was constantly battling with negotiations of one form or another in order to solidify his rulership. These battles were rather constant and emphasized his deep need for power at any cost…his desires for love were deep and always seemed to be on ‘edge’…

Your gentleman, who I’ll refer to as the “Plutonian Prince”,  has a simliar Pluto signature. His opposition is between a Sun Venus conjunction in Cancer, opposite the Moon in Capricorn. He was born when the moon was full in the sign of its detriment…Capricorn.

So he somehow may enjoy lathering in the the bubbles of his ‘cold heart’…that’s just the way he is…although he may seem hardened and cold…he feels quite comfortable with it. For him, displaying emotional aloofness and coldness could be like taking a bubble bath, a full, sensual, satisfying experience.

Yet, his basic nature is sensitive, vulnerable, and protective…he has a soft spot for romance and  thrives off sweet,  delicious,  emotional charm.

He needs the pull of a woman to feel at home with himself, especially emotionally.  He attracts women who are the up and up.. who are professionally established, traditional, business minded,  and sophisticated.

His relationships are rather fulfilling in an emotionally destructive kind of way…not to be negative, but just to emphasize they are a vivid reflection of his own struggle to accept his feelings and his core needs. If he’s always battling with a woman, he never has the chance to confront his own emotional issues.

He can just continue to blame the woman for any  emotional struggle distress that results from the relationship, when in fact it may be him, and his own inability to accept his emotional nature, that could be the real problem.

His own level of emotional maturity will determine to what extent he may tend to project his own unresolved emotional  onto his relationships. Getting to know about this man’s relationship with his mother will tell you A LOT. If it’s rocky…I would certainly stay clear of getting romantically close.

So,these relationships with these ‘high class sophisticates’ put enormous pressure on his own need for power, wealth, and security. He could be a bit power-hungry and manipulative…I wouldn’t put anything past him when it comes to using charm, sex, and love to get to the top.

Being with this man, like being with Henry the 8th, certainly promises an intense experience! I’m not implying your life would be at stake, but he would certainly find a way to pull you to ‘the edge’…where that  29th degree is…sitting, floating, taking in the fullness of grace, beauty, and charm, preparing to release its divine light with explosive power.

For him, there is no other way~

Silence of the Sirens, Hurricane Irene & September 11th

Now that Hurricane Irene is on its way to NYC, astrologers are having a heyday! Many interpretations are impressive and quite relevant.  I myself have been working on it more than I’d like to admit… Finally, I had to stop myself.  I am no Astrology God…I do however, have my own perspective …

Here Goes!

Terpsichore Stye~

Terpsichore, Mother of the infamous Sirens and Announcer of their cries of seduction, is currently approaching a conjunction, meaning a fusion with, the “Lord of Karma”, Saturn, in the sign of justice, balance, and social awareness, Libra. This fusion will be perfected very close to September 11th. Terpsichore here, I believe, is calling us to pause…

What a timely announcement she is set off to make!

Homer gave the Sirens a spiritual purpose in his epic poem, Ulysses. Their exquistely ethereal voices transformed Ulysses  in a moment of ‘enlightenment’. Although more typically, their melodic voices were ultimately dangerous and surely led to death by sea. The lives of the Sirens depend completely on those who listen. If one should escape the allure of their song, they perish.  What’s more, their silence is even more dangerous than their song! One is doomed to eternal entrapment if they were so unfortante to come across deaf ears in their alluring presence. This is an interpretation derived from Kafka’s ‘Silence of The Sirens’…

 Hmmm…

Ofcourse there is much news about the Hurricane preparing its hit…Terpsichore is making her announcement loud and clear! Now that Mercury, the planet of communication, is direct in expressive Leo, we pretty much know what to expect. Mayor Bloomberg is on it. This is his chance to redeem himself after the snow storm disaster last winter.

I have to admit news has the seductive allure of  a siren’s voice…right?  It seduces…allures…pulls one’s self in an alternate reality that many times seems almost impossible to get away from! I  myself am trying hard not to get drowned in information. I figure what’s meant to be will be. Yet, I also know my knowledge of astrology is helping with that! I know Saturn in Libra is ultimately good energy…even though it may come with a big hit.

Around September 11th, when Terpsichore makes her way to meet Saturn face to face, Irene hopefully will have completed her visit. There will be opportunity for pause…that dangerous moment of silence that we never fully escape from. Although it may sound a little non sensical…my feeling is it will be very real.  The after math of the hurricane converges with the memory of survival and death of September 11th. *Terpsichore happens to be the daughter of the Goddess of memory. Nostalgia runs deep.

I think Terpsichore is closely related with survival in the midst of death. There is much more to her than just song and dance.  The deeper one goes, the more one will find, if one is willing to play the game and take a risk. With Irene well on her way…we (those of us in NYC) have to play the game.  It is our opportunity for risk…for prepared risk. I think Saturn in Libra is the great protector here…

That said…consider this all just a few steps of the dance…or just a peek of  1 hit of an intricate shot in a pool game. Pure physics! There are a lot more moves playing themselves out to an ultimate, targeted direction. I’ll leave this for all the other astrologers to ponder!

*One thing I did notice however, is The Greek Sea God, Poseidon’s journey through the sky! He’s currently is Pisces with nothing holding him back! He is as, they say ‘wild’.  The Roman version Neptune, however, is on lock down. Neptune, from an astrological perspective,  makes Poseidan look like a quarter! Neptune is very busy now, making all kinds of connections. She’s certainly having a ‘moment’.  Perhaps she’s a bit apprehensive about entering her natural home of Pisces, in February. After all, even though Neptune may not be quite at home in Aquarius, she’s been there since 1998!!  Sad but true, sometimes we can get a little too used being uncomfortable!

Like Ulysses’s  journey back home to Ithaca, Neptune is preparing for her final stretch back home, in Pisces. Terpsichore is watching. Once Neptune enters  her natural astrological placement  in Pisces, just as when Ulysses’s journey finally ended, I think it will be splendid. It will be a while…around February, before she’ll have the pleasure of  being deep in her own skin. When that happens, she’ll be ready to face whatever comes her way. The retrograde dance takes its bow and the tune will instantly change. In February, it is full stream ahead. The melody will be exquisite, the dance- a momentous event–a beautiful, gentle, seductive celebration.

This, I believe, is the song Terpsichore wants us all to hear~

Nautilus Nymph~Aquarius Venus on Shaky Ground

With Venus in Aquarius, Love will definitely not being Boring! Excitement and Decadence take the spot light on relationships. Individuality takes over at the cost of sensitivity and mutual sacrifice.

When Venus is at the apex of a T square…the spotlight is on Romance, Self Worth, Relationships, Artistic Expression, and Money. So, with Venus in unpredictable Aquarius demanding attention…Love certainly offers lots of surprises! Like a jack in the box, there will always be equal  forces of spring and explosion…sometimes it can be pretty cute, other times a little scary!

This is because the T Square involves the testy planets of astrology…Pluto and Mars. Pluto is at home in Scorpio in the hidden 12 house, having outs with a frustrated Mars in Taurus, (if one believe in detriments!:) in the 6th house of health and mundane, daily experience.

These houses are shades of a pastel …BUT

Scorpio Taurus polarity is no joke, no matter how you look at it. Blood will be shed…Venus gets to bathe in it. I don’t mean to make this as gruesome as it may sound. Grave attention, however, is a must.

Venus sits in the third house of communication, early childhood, and immediate environment.  So, there will be LOTS to talk about! She’s also joined at the hip to marriage asteroid Juno; keeping it real AND exciting at any cost is the main intention. Juno is the independent female archetype who settles for nothing less than her own integrity— until a man comes along that is!!

BUT with Juno in the sign of Aquarius, conjunct/joining Venus, tells me relationships ultimately propel freedom AND individuality, WITHIN a partnership! Tall order…espeicially with the heat of Pluto and Mars vying for power and victory. Hormones boil over and drive the spiritual and physical body in perpetual heat. More importantly, the power of intellect is intensely challenged. Lust chills out. Values will inevitably be meticulously pinned down in stone.

At least at the end of it all Venus will know exactly who she is, and be proud of it.

The Diplomatic Angel, Neptune Conjunct Venus in Libra in The 12th House

So you read the title , but essentially what does this MEAN? Think of Astrology as a grand Storybook…When Neptune and Venus are the main characters, it’s like Cinderella…in the sign of Libra…we have a “classy” Cinderella…refined in her values…taking pride in being “fair”, but also a little wishy-washy and easily prone to being gullible…this is because at the heart of it all she very much needs to be liked…and this is why she goes out of her way to please so much…

Now, when you put all this is the twelfth house, the house of ‘self undoing’ as it’s been labeled in the astrology community, well…it can become a nightmare. This is because the 12th house is so hidden, mysterious, alluring, and incredibly ravenous…like the deep blue sea…it’s very romantic at first glance, but be sure to keep your distance because if you get too close…too deep, you could very well drown into the abyss…

Meditating on these symbolisms may be helpful for anyone who has a strong 12th house signature or Neptune in their horoscope…

So, lets start here…, what does this mean to YOU in your life…?
