The Sun Shines in Virgo
Sun in Virgo
The fault dear Brutus, is not in our stars but in ourselves. William Shakespeare
When I saw this dance video I felt it was the perfect expression of Virgo. The crisp, white costumes, the fierce technicality of the movement, and of course, the song’s lyric’s just about says it all. Virgo is known for its perfectionism and loves to feel helpful. Anyone who has had a close relationship with a Virgo knows what it feels like to be dotted over, and at times ‘fixed’. Virgo’s can’t help but notice when something could be better, whether it’s your fashion sense, your work ethic, or how you choose to brush your teeth. Yes, the constant attention to detail and need to have things ‘just right’, can get tiring after a while. But realize of all the signs of the zodiac, Virgo is the most pure and well intentioned.

Taurus has arrived!
Slow and Steady Momentum
The Sun is now in Taurus, a time to build your resources, fine tune a strategy for long term success, and use your hard earned experience to take an intelligent risk.
As a development of Aries, the sign of identity, Taurus strives to transform that identity into personal meaning. A sense of ownership is key to this process. As the zodiac’s first Earth sign, nature, and the body are idealized. Indeed, the body can be thought of as one’s most valuable possession. Perhaps this is why Taurus is the sign of the dancer. Modern dance diva Martha Graham was Taurus, as well as Royal Ballet legend Margot Fonteyn. A natural instinct for physicality and grace likely comes from Venus, which rules Taurus. Think of a Taurus friend you have, and you’ll realize he or she probably has excellent taste in fashion, design, or cuisine, (especially fine wine).
Taurus is also the domain of vocal expression, as you can think of one’s voice as an extension of the body, (in theater , or poetry, or opera, for example). It’s no surprise both Barbara Streisand and Adele are both Tuaureans. Both singers share a sensual, soulful style that make for gloriously addictive listening.
Finally, Taurus is the master builder who isn’t afraid to do what it takes in the moment to have a chance at long term wealth, beautifully attested by Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg. Methodical in nature, a Tuarus rarely makes a bad move, and has an uncanny knack for tuning out distractions while staying in the moment. This gives them excellent decision making power. And yes, Taurus can also be quite the sex symbol, just take a look at George Clooney. Need I say more!?
The Sun’s yearly visit to Taurus will begin a cycle of material growth and comfort. You’ll make the most of it by thinking like a master investor. Consciously build resources in one area of your life. Look at what’s already available to you (often our greatest assets are fright in front of us!) Last but not least, think about what you most value. Whether it be time, health, stability, freedom, etc., as this will give you the power to make a big push that will land you in fresh territory. It is Spring, after all~

TERPSICHORE IN THE CHARTS OF OUR PRESIDENTS & OTHER
Abraham Lincoln has the strongest Terpsichore Signature of all the U.S. Presidents. What’s really interesting is his Terpsichore placement matches that of two other notable figures in history, Shakespeare, master of words and Michael Phelps, master of strokes. Lincoln, perhaps could be seen as the master orator. All these men, in this way, were the master of rhythm, the rhythm of words, the rhythm of strokes, and the rhythm of speech, all within the context of flow in this human dimension we call time.
So, what is it exactly that these three men, Abraham Lincoln Michael Phelps, and William Shakespeare share, in regards to Terpsichore? How exactly does Terpsichore tie them all together? They all have Terpsichore tightly joined with the most spiritual part of the horoscope, the North Node.
In Lincoln’s case, I believe Terpsichore is reflective of the story-teller,the orator, the political poet, if you will, which was so emphasized in Spielberg’s film. Perhaps Lincoln’s words were destined to live long after his death. Perhaps the spirit of his language was meant to be shared in a much deeper way than we’ll ever know~
